T-Rex Entertainment is an independent Filipino film company committed to make productions that matter. Built on the vision to create quality, relevant and compelling stories that cuts through the consciousness of its audience, it endeavors to explore innovative and integrated approaches to creative content production.
Founded in 2015, T-Rex Entertainment’s first film was Elwood Perez’s Esoterika: Maynila (2015). The production company expanded through its first major films in Gil Portes’ hero biopic, Ang Hapis at Himagsik ni Hermano Puli (The Agony and Fury of Hermano Puli) (2016), and historical romance, Moonlight Over Baler (2017).
Since its establishment, T-Rex Entertainment continues to garner recognition through its award-winning films exhibited internationally and locally. This includes the Visayan dark comedy, Patay Na Si Hesus (Jesus Is Dead) (2017), 43rd Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Deadma Walking (2017), romantic musical film Bakwit Boys (2018), QCinema International Film Festival entry, Billie and Emma (2019), Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino entry (and co-produced with ABS-CBN Entertainments), Open (2019), and currently top-trending, digitally-released, Ngayon Kaya (2022).
